A financially viable, socially responsible alternative
Facility Warehouse is a members-only gateway for pre-owned office items. Our
social mission is to reduce the environmental impact on our landfills, fund worthy
causes and help teachers who need school supplies for their kids.
There are three ways that you can give back to your community.
1. For products that are suitable for remarketing, we can allocate a percentage of the proceeds for donation to non-profit organizations. When anyone in the member-dealer network sells products allocated for donation we will track the sale and issue a check to the designated nonprofit organization(s).
2. Often, non-profit organizations can make good and productive use of furniture that would not be suitable for commercial use. In these cases, we will donate the furniture to the organization.
3. For furniture that has truly reached its useful life—that is, no market exists for the product—we may be able to dismantle and recycle components. Rather than simply dumping the items in a landfill we will handle the recycling and channel the proceeds to one or more non-profit organizations.
